This exciting opportunity is tailored for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a meaningful impact in educational settings. The position centers on providing top-quality speech therapy services to K-8 students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Youll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and reach their full academic and social potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Arizona Department of Education certification (DOE Cert)
- Prior experience in school settings and managing a caseload is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to approximately 58 students across K-8 grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely therapy documentation and progress reports
- Foster a positive, supportive environment to facilitate student learning and communication development
