Job Description
Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic school environment near Phoenix, AZ, for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with K-8th grade students, supporting their growth and communication skills throughout the year. Youll enjoy consistent weekday hours (37.5 per week) and the opportunity to manage a manageable caseload of around 58 students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) SLP
- Current Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Arizona Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Prior school-based SLP experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-8 students in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team, including teachers and specialists
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Maintain clear, timely student records and progress reports for compliance and communication with families
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student support
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based therapy
