This position, located near Phoenix, AZ, is for the upcoming 26/27 school year and offers the possibility to make a real difference in a vibrant school setting across two different campuses.
Youll provide both direct therapy and vital preschool evaluations, especially with students diagnosed with Autism, while utilizing your language skills to serve a diverse, multilingual student body. Your work will ensure every child receives the communication support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Arizona Department of Education certification
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- SLP-CCC credential preferred
- Experience with school-based services and comprehensive preschool evaluations is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through 8th grade
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, particularly for preschool-aged children
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Provide targeted intervention for students with Autism, adapting strategies to meet individual needs
- Work across two school sites, maintaining thorough records, progress reports, and ongoing communication
