A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Phoenix, AZ, offering a contract position within a school setting. This role provides a professional environment where you will serve a pediatric caseload and contribute to student success through tailored speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, with multiple caseload options to match your expertise and preferences
- Deliver speech-language assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for school-aged children
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations concerning student services
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- IVP fingerprint clearance card mandatory for employment
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply and gain valuable school-based experience
- Credentials including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) are welcomed and supported
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Monday through Friday schedule, aligning with the school calendar
