Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a contract role supporting students across three schools serving grades K-12. This position will provide a dynamic mix of experiences, as you collaborate on a diverse, supportive team to meet the communication needs of elementary, middle, and high school students.

In this engaging role, you will manage a varied caseload, delivering a total of 55 thirty-minute treatment sessions weeklycomprised of 16 individual sessions and 37 group sessions. The caseload is thoughtfully split between three educational buildings, ensuring variety and the chance to flex your expertise across different age groups and needs. Theres flexibility for both onsite and virtual providers, as long as a supporting SLPA is also contracted.

To be considered, candidates must possess both an active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Certificate. Experience in school settings, SLP-CCC credentials, and confidence working with a range of student populations are highly valued. This contract position requires a commitment to a full-time, 35-hour workweek.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active PA Teaching Certificate and SLP Certificate required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience providing services across K-12 populations
  • Ability to effectively balance a caseload split among three schools
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with IEPs
  • Openness to onsite and some virtual service models (with SLPA support)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy both individually and in groups
  • Develop, implement, and document therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain detailed, compliant records
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as necessary
