Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows also considered
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings highly valued
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each childs unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in both individual and group formats
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Keep thorough documentation of intervention strategies, goals, and student performance
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
