Job Description

Step into a flexible contract opportunity supporting students in and around the Philadelphia area as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Work with a range of caseloadswhether your interest lies in supporting an Autistic support classroom or serving itinerant students across multiple community locations. This engaging position allows you to choose your preferred schedule, with both full-time (5 days/week) and part-time (minimum 2 days/week) options available.

Your expertise will directly impact students across communities such as Aston, Media, Glen Mills, Chaddsford, Upper Darby, Clifton Heights, and Broomall, offering you a rewarding variety of settings and student needs. Immediate starts are welcomed for clinicians with the required credentials.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active ASHA Certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Possession of Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification
  • Direct experience or passion for school-based speech-language services
  • Flexibility to work across several locations and adapt to diverse caseloads
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language assessments and therapeutic services to students on your assigned caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and maintain thorough, timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Support the success of students in specialized environments, such as Autistic support classrooms, as well as in community itinerant settings
  • Travel between school locations within the surrounding communities as needed
