Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-5 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at a vibrant elementary campus near Petersburg, VA. In this engaging position, youll work alongside a supervising SLP, making a meaningful impact through direct therapy sessions and collaborative support during assessments. This is a fulfilling opportunity spanning the 2024-2025 school year, with a schedule of 37.5 hours each week from August through May.

• Eligibility as an SLPA and ability to meet district credentialing requirements

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
• Assisting the supervising SLP in conducting and supporting speech-language assessments
• Documenting student progress, contributing to IEP meetings, and maintaining clear records
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Traveling as needed between classrooms or locations within the school
