Job Description

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state or eligibility for Ohio licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Prior experience working within a school setting is advantageous
  • Familiarity with a diverse caseload including elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams including teachers, support staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students across grade levels
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Provide consultative support and resources to teachers and classroom staff
  • Engage with parents and guardians to foster student growth and progress
  • Adapt strategies and materials to accommodate varying student needs
