Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
- CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Design individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide updates, and contribute to documentation and reporting requirements
- Support and educate school personnel to ensure carry-over of strategies in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
