Position Details

  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Location: Peoria, Arizona
  • Openings: 4
  • School Year: August 3, 2026 May 20, 2027
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Daily Schedule: Typically 8:00 AM 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM 3:30 PM, depending on site assignment
  • Schools Assigned: 23 school sites
  • Student Population: Kindergarten through 8th Grade

Available Assignments Traditional School-Based SLP Positions (2 Openings)

  • K8 school settings
  • Typical speech and language caseloads
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Autism Program SLP Positions (2 Openings)

  • Specialized programs serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Provide individualized speech and language intervention
  • Support communication, social language, and functional communication skills
  • Collaborate with special education teams and behavioral support staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop treatment plans and therapy goals
  • Provide individual and group therapy services
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed

  • Caseloads are generally maintained between 6065 students
  • Supportive team environment with established special education services

Qualifications Required

  • Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
    • Must be the IVP Fingerprint Card
    • Candidates should be prepared to provide their IVP number
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Previous school-based SLP experience
  • Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
