This full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity offers the chance to work closely with children, staff, and families during the academic year. The daily schedule runs from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm, with occasional additional time for meetings or required documentationhelping ensure each student receives thorough and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Arizona SLP license
- Current Department of Education (DOE) credentials
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Enrolled NPI number
- Experience in schools is valued, and candidates holding SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY distinction are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in group settings
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and periodic progress reviews
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with the educational team
- Maintain comprehensive records and meet documentation requirements
- Participate fully in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and ongoing parent communications
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate that supports student growth and learning
