Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Pensacola, FL, supporting elementary students within a public school district. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through May 25, 2027, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours (7.5 hours/day). This opportunity involves working onsite and managing a caseload of approximately 45 elementary-aged students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to the individual needs of elementary students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
  • Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials and certifications are required.
  • Prior experience in school-based SLP roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a moderate caseload efficiently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school environment.

Location:

  • Position is located onsite at schools in Pensacola, Florida.
  • Travel within the district or to other school sites may be required as assigned (number of schools TBD).

Additional Information:

  • Candidates may be asked to participate in prescreen interviews during flexible hours (9-11 a.m. or 2-3 p.m. EST).
  • An active credential is necessary; no IVP fingerprint card required for credentialing.
  • This is a travel-based school assignment.
