Job Description

Make a real impact guiding students toward success as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary school students. This contract position starts as soon as possible, offering the chance to step into a pivotal role supporting a diverse caseload within a collaborative special education environment. Youll leverage your expertise to help students reach communication milestones and support an inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 83 elementary school students
  • Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Counsel and support students, families, and staff regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for all services rendered
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate optimal student outcomes
