A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Pelham, AL. This contract role involves working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential speech and language therapy services to support their academic and social development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Alabama
- Credentials including CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience with pediatric populations or school-based settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed
- Strong communication and assessment skills tailored to K-12 students
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in children aged K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in meetings and case conferences to discuss student goals and outcomes
