Job Description

As a valued contributor three days per week, youll work 22.5 hours weekly within an elementary caseload. Your expertise enables students to develop essential language and speech abilities, while you enjoy a balanced work schedule with time to focus on your personal pursuits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current Illinois SLP License (required)
  • Any additional state or district-mandated credentials (such as Professional Educator License if applicable)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to onsite work within the local school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for elementary students
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with all state and school policies
  • Participate in meetings and share insights to enhance student learning outcomes
