A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication needs in a school setting located in Pearland, TX. This opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in speech and language therapy to help students develop essential communication skills and overcome speech challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in meetings and provide recommendations to support student success
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
