Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship candidates will also be considered
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly desired
- Ability to tailor assessment and intervention techniques to individual student needs
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and success-driven environment for all learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Deliver both group and individual therapy sessions to address specific goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing evaluations and meetings
- Engage in professional development to stay current on best practices
