Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible Speech Language Pathologist license for Rhode Island
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
• Strong foundation in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of speech and language disorders
• Ability to develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings
• Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups, in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct thorough assessments and re-evaluations to determine students communication needs
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each childs strengths and challenges
• Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and compliance paperwork
• Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and caregivers on student progress
• Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required
• Support a positive, encouraging learning environment that fosters growth
