What We're Looking For:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility
• State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology in Rhode Island
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, speech/language assessment, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to help students overcome communication barriers
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support each students educational journey
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to foster generalization of skills in classroom settings
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
