A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Pawtucket, RI area, serving K-12 students under a contract for the current school year. This role is designed for professionals dedicated to improving student communication skills across a diverse age range in an educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathology License
- Relevant credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in schools
Job Details:
- Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Position Type: Contract for the current school year
- Age Group Served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Documenting and reporting on student progress in compliance with district policies
