Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity this fall, supporting students across Pre K through 12th grade on a part-time contract while covering a maternity leave. This on-site position, located near Paso Robles, CA, invites a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and adolescents from October through mid-December 2025.

Your expertise will help shape communication and language development for a diverse caseload, with responsibilities ranging from direct and indirect therapy to evaluation and IEP meeting participation. This setting offers a dynamic atmosphere, allowing you to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support a variety of communication needs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid California SLP state license or CA CTC credential
  • Experience working with Pre K12 and a range of disabilities
  • Familiarity with IEP procedures, service documentation, and evaluation processes
  • Background serving pediatric populations in school, health care, or teletherapy environments
  • Effective communicator and comfortable working collaboratively on-site
  • Strong organizational abilities for managing varied responsibilities and caseloads
  • New grads with a completed clinical fellowship (CFY) are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy servicesincluding direct and indirect interventions
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to eligibility reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings, supporting student progress and family communication
  • Maintain records and progress documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals
  • Adapt interventions to meet individual student needs across various disabilities
