Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current, valid SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is strongly desired
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to new environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech/language and communication assessments for students as part of special education services
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social/pragmatic skills
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to support student goals and classroom integration
• Participate in IEP meetings and help design goals and accommodations tailored to each students needs
• Offer training or support to staff and families as needed to reinforce carryover of skills
