Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract position supporting students communication needs in the Baltimore area, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in multiple school settings. Interviewing for these roles begins on 4/27/2026, with start dates between January and March 2026 and the option to extend coverage into an Extended School Year in July. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available to fit your schedule, with assignments across preschool, elementary, and middle school populations.

Opportunities Include:

  • Full-time (37.5 hrs/week, MondayFriday), part-time (30 hrs/week, MondayThursday), or flexible arrangements upon request
  • Assignments at community preschool sites (itinerant), two elementary schools, or a middle school, serving diverse student populations
  • Collaborating with and providing oversight to an SLPA at the secondary school level

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Maryland professional licensure (documentation required upon hire)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Background clearance compliant with House Bill 486 (district background check/fingerprinting and employment history review)
  • Experience in school-based settings and dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessment and interventions to support IEP goals
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, school staff, and families across community and campus-based settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Supervise and collaborate with an assigned SLPA at the middle school level
  • Complete required documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner
