Job Description

This full-time, contract position is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with expertise in pediatric and school-based settings. The assignment lasts from August 31 through November 30, covering a maternity leave, and offers the opportunity to work between 35 and 40 hours weekly. The specific number of school assignments is to be determined, and travel between sites may be required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC-SLP certification
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings
  • Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to new IEP systems (training provided as needed)
  • Must meet all district credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
  • Travel between assigned schools if required (paid travel)
