Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCCs preferred)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly desired
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and speech disorders in children
  • Strong documentation, time management, and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs, utilizing individualized and evidence-based approaches
  • Conduct thorough assessments and collaborate on IEP goal development
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes for each student served
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and families, ensuring a holistic approach to student growth
  • Stay current on best practices and legal requirements for speech-language services in educational environments
