Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting student communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Bringing your expertise to an on-site setting, youll help students develop essential speech and language skills in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Maryland professional license, with required documentation and images for verification
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
  • Ability to complete all district-required credentialing, including House Bill 486 employment history review and background check with fingerprinting
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct assessment and therapy services to K-12 students across assigned campuses
  • Conduct evaluations to identify student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records of treatment plans, progress, and compliance documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultative support as needed
  • Adapt therapy approaches based on student progress and diverse needs
