Make a real impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) in the Baltimore area this school year! We're seeking three highly qualified SLPs for full-time and part-time itinerant and school-based assignments in thriving preschool, elementary, and middle school settings. These roles provide a dynamic environment, partnering with diverse student populations and collaborating directly with instructional teams and SLPAs for comprehensive support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschoolers in community school settings, elementary (PreK5th), or secondary (6th8th) students
- Provide direct and consultative services as required by student IEPs
- Supervise SLPAs in service provision, especially within secondary assignments
- Maintain thorough documentation, data collection, and progress monitoring for all assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student communication goals
- Adapt therapy methods to diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to holistic student support plans
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Maryland professional licensure (please provide license images with application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, flexibility, and collaboration skills
- Ability to pass district background check and fingerprinting in accordance with House Bill 486
- Availability for an internal prescreen interview; specify your preferred date(s) between 911am or 23pm EST (schedule flexibility is available)
Available positions include:
- Full-time (37.5 hrs/week, MF) at preschool itinerant or elementary sites (two positions)
- Part-time (30 hrs/week, MR with optional 5-day schedule) at middle school
