Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students speech and language development
- Create tailored intervention programs to address individual student needs
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to children in accordance with IEPs
- Document progress and maintain organized records on case management
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, develop goals, and provide recommendations
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture
