A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist in Park Ridge, IL, serving K-12 students in a school setting. This contract-to-hire position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 35 hours per week dedicated to delivering specialized speech-language services to a diverse caseload within the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments
  • Provide direct therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum, utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress effectively

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school-based settings
  • Skills in teletherapy are a plus, enhancing service delivery options
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload efficiently
