Job Description

Bring your speech-language pathology expertise to a dynamic educational environment, working onsite to support students communication needs. This contract opportunity spans the academic year, from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for elementary learners. Youll work with a manageable caseload across one to two school sites, providing vital SLP services and collaborating within a supportive school community.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Active Nebraska SLP license (required)
  • ASHA CCC credential strongly preferred
  • Prior school-based SLP experience, especially with elementary students, is desired
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and intervention planning
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 4060 students with varying speech and language needs
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students across assigned campuses
  • Conduct assessments and facilitate IEP meetings as needed
  • Develop customized, measurable therapy goals and track student progress
  • Maintain timely and detailed documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment while supporting teachers and staff
  • Communicate regularly with parents and multidisciplinary team members
