Make a difference in the lives of students with an opportunity designed for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract in a supportive school setting near Palmetto, FL. Starting in August 2026 and running through May 2027, youll collaborate with school teams and empower students to reach their full potential in communication and language development.
What you'll bring:
- Active Florida SLP license (Masters degree preferred; also open to Clinical Fellows)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly desired
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit
- Ability to independently manage a dynamic caseload
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student support
Your responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy sessions for diverse student populations
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to implement effective strategies and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and IEP paperwork in compliance with school and legal standards
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed (assignments are determined as new hires are placed)
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings as requested
