Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Alaska
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
• Recent experience providing speech/language therapy in pediatric or school-age populations
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance standards
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and collaborating with educational staff and parents
• Track student progress through data collection and maintain accurate records
• Educate and consult with teachers, aides, and families to reinforce therapy goals in classroom and home environments
