Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current and valid SLP licensure for Alaska (or the ability to obtain before start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates will also be considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable, though strong clinical skills in other settings are welcome
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate, confidential student records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student success
