Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palmdale, CA, starting in March 2026 and ending on June 4, 2026. This role offers 30-35 hours per week (to be determined) and involves managing an average caseload of approximately 45 students. The specific school site will be confirmed closer to the start date.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in school settings providing speech and language therapy services
  • Ability to manage a moderate caseload and develop individualized education plans

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve students communication skills
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert recommendations
