Embark on an engaging opportunity working onsite with students in a supportive educational setting near Palm Springs, CA. This contract position is perfect for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists committed to serving diverse learners in grades PreK-5th. Youll join a dedicated clinical team with three SLP positions available, supporting approximately 55 students across multiple schools each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California SLP license required
- CCC-SLP or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Previous experience in pediatric and school-based settings valued
- Comprehensive understanding of speech/language development and evidence-based intervention
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite to PreK-5th grade students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop customized treatment plans addressing various communication challenges
- Serve a caseload of approximately 55 students across multiple grade levels and schools
- Complete assessments, document progress, and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
