A dynamic school-based opportunity is available for three licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Palm Springs, CA. This contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills of students in grades PreK through 5th grade within an engaging educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to approximately 55 students across multiple schools.
- Deliver direct therapy services to support students' speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate care.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license is required.
- Experience working in pediatric and/or school-based settings highly preferred.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience with CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates is valuable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to work onsite throughout the contract period.
Position Details:
- Contract dates: ASAP through the end of the current school year.
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
- Location: Onsite at Palm Springs schools.
