Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students communication and educational development in a vibrant school environment near Palm Desert, CA. As an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a key role in helping approximately 55 PreK5th grade students reach their fullest potential through specialized services.

This dynamic opportunity is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Youll have a manageable caseload across multiple grade levels and may support students at more than one school, working closely with educators and families to implement targeted interventions.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Active CA SLP license required
  • Proficiency in delivering school-based speech and language services
  • Experience or clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion encouraged
  • Commitment to evidence-based pediatric practices
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) CCCs welcomed, but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, interventions, and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) services for students in PreK5th grade
  • Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
  • Serve as a resource for educational best practices in speech and language
  • Provide services entirely onsite
