A dynamic opportunity is available for multiple Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join contract positions within the school setting in Palm Desert, CA. This role requires highly skilled SLP professionals holding a valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or California Clear Teaching Credential (CTC). The assignment is set for the 2025-2026 school year, providing comprehensive services across multiple school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students.
- Manage caseloads comprised of school-age children; specific ages and grade levels to be confirmed closer to the school year.
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain current and accurate documentation as required by educational standards.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid California SLP license or California Clear Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in schools, healthcare, pediatrics, or as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) professional is valued.
- Proficient in IEP development, speech and language evaluations, and delivering comprehensive therapy services.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different school sites.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location and Hours:
- Position based in Palm Desert, CA 92211.
- Full-time contract at 37.5 hours per week.
- Multiple school assignments within the area.
- Note: No district-provided supervision available (no para, RBT, CNA, or LPN supervision).
