Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists in vibrant southeast Florida! This fulfilling role offers the chance to work with diverse student populations across one or two school sites, supporting learners from VPK through high school. Multiple settings are available, including brand new and established campuses, where collaborative teams and engaged communities await your expertise.
Exciting assignments include roles at innovative elementary, middle, and high schoolseach with unique caseloads, such as K-8 with ASD and VE units, high school InD units, and collaborative environments where youll partner with other SLPs and SLPAs. Whether you thrive with early learners or older students, there are options to match your strengths and preferences, starting August 5, 2026, through June 1, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in Florida (CCC preferred)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload in traditional and special education settings (ASD, VE, EBD, InD units)
- Ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement speech/language interventions
- Team-oriented approach, excellent communication, and adaptability
- Ability to fulfill time-sensitive credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in K-12 settings, per assignment
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and consult with classroom teachers and families
- Offer intervention across a variety of educational environments, meeting the needs of ASD, EBD, VE, and InD learners
- Collaborate with on-site SLPs and SLPAs to optimize student outcomes
