This contract opportunity welcomes experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC), as well as Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF), to work in a supportive educational environment. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered, with onsite positions available to meet diverse caseloads.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Florida SLP license with teaching certification required
- Eligible for or completed SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credential
- Must complete district fingerprinting process
- Pediatric experience, school-based or healthcare setting experience preferred
- Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Motivated to contribute to student growth and school success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to children in school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and document progress in compliance with school and state requirements
- Adapt approach to support a diverse student population, addressing a range of communication disorders
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and team initiatives
