Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits those passionate about supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based contract role near Palatine, IL. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the exact caseload and grade assignments to be determined. Four positions are available, with new hire orientation scheduled for August 12th to 14th.

As an integral part of the educational team, you'll provide evaluations, develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to help students succeed. Onsite presence is essential, ensuring direct engagement with students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current, active Illinois SLP license (submit screenshot as part of the application).
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (submit screenshot as well).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered.
  • Experience in school settings, especially serving diverse K-12 populations, is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic speech and language assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students.
  • Document and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities.
