This full-time, onsite contract position for the 2026/2027 school year offers the opportunity to deliver impactful speech and language services to a diverse student population. Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Illinois SLP License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs of students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, adapting interventions as needed to support student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress
- Foster a supportive environment that celebrates cultural and linguistic diversity
