Job Description

Step into an opportunity to support students' communication and educational growth within a collaborative school environment. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated SLP or SLPA ready to make a meaningful impact during a faculty leave period. With a set schedule from August 2026 through November or December 2026, you'll enjoy consistent hours and the chance to work alongside passionate professionals.

Youll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, and benefit from the support of experienced SLPAs already on campus. This setting encourages teamwork, proactive planning, and the pursuit of excellence in student care.

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or SLPA) valid in California
  • Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEPs and school documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering student achievement
  • Positive, flexible attitude in response to a dynamic school environment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students according to their IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Develop creative, effective interventions that promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team
  • Encourage a supportive, inclusive environment for all students

Contract staff in this role will enjoy a welcoming campus, the support of other SLPAs, and a schedule that allows for work-life balance with 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
