Key qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Offer training, resources, and strategies to educators and caregivers that facilitate communication development in the classroom
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current on best practices
