Job Description

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • State licensure or eligibility for SLP in Alabama
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, or strong CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children and staff
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing diagnostic evaluations and therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students progress
  • Developing personalized treatment plans and documenting progress towards IEP goals
  • Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Contributing to a positive, communicative atmosphere where each students goals are prioritized
  • Participating in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
