Job Description

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
  • Strong experience supporting elementary-aged students in school settings
  • Profound understanding of common childhood speech and language disorders, as well as evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for elementary students
  • Create and deliver targeted treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs, progress reports, and evaluations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students with speech/language challenges
