Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Relevant experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings
• Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication development in children
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation procedures
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Compassion, patience, and a passion for helping children succeed

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students referred for speech and language concerns
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans consistent with each students needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation on student progress, session notes, and required compliance paperwork
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development
• Serve as a resource for colleagues and families regarding communication strategies and tools
