Job Description

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing direct therapy to school-aged children
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals and monitor student progress
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school staff to support student success
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for continued improvement
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation following school guidelines and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and student support team meetings
