Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in the state of Kansas (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is an advantage
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to student needs
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping children succeed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate data, therapy notes, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
  • Offer training and resources to colleagues and caregivers when needed
