Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Kansas
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach when working with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver tailored therapy
  • Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and strategies for intervention

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for services
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support students academic achievement and social success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and communicate results effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student goals and accommodations
  • Support school-wide speech and language initiatives, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
