Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Kansas
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach when working with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver tailored therapy
- Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and strategies for intervention
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for services
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support students academic achievement and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and communicate results effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student goals and accommodations
- Support school-wide speech and language initiatives, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
