Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a vibrant school community near Overland Park, KS. This full-time role, spanning the 2026-2027 school year from August to May, invites creative and compassionate clinicians to make a significant difference in the lives of students from diverse backgrounds.
Take on a meaningful caseload as you collaborate with school teams, educators, and families. Candidates will cover one to three campuses, with specific caseload details addressed during the interview as the next school years needs are finalized. Multiple full-time positions are available, opening the door to clinicians at various skill levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow).
- Consideration also extended to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged populations from Kindergarten through twelfth grade.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
- Flexibility to work on-site at designated school campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication interventions aligned to students IEPs.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain accurate progress monitoring records.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and achievement.
- Contribute actively to multidisciplinary meetings and special education processes.
- Participate in professional development and remain current with best practices in school-based therapy.
